I wanted a messenger bag that shows that I am a mature student. The item is exactly as depicted on pics. Only reason I am giving it 4 Stars is that it is small in width. In other words, you can only hold like two middle size books, the most, or your computer but no books. You get the idea. It has two patches inside, one for small items and one for larger items like cords. The leather part is made out of good leather, not cheap at all. And like good leather, you're going to get scratches on it but it gives the item an older, expensive look. This cost me less than $50 bucks but it makes me look like I paid at least $100 bucks. My sister loves it, I might buy her one for her computer. Highly recommend this item. As previously stated, I only gave the item 4 Stars because more than likely, I'll probably hold a book w/ hands because not everything might fit in bag.

I am sorry for the delay, but.......this leather satchel for men is worthless to me. In the end, it was a waste of money. Yes, it is attractive, makes me look mature...la la la..blah, blah. But, the reality is that the bag is a piece of crap if you really want to use it as a book bag. You can not carry much or books BECAUSE, the small bag that is suppose to hold pencils, phone, etc., is on the back (inside bag) instead of the front. SO, in other words, your heavy books will be putting weight on your small, delicate items, such as an IPHONE! This bag is not made of hard material. It is sloppy and weak. I guess use it when you travel, but as a carry-on bag, but to hold your tickets, ID, cash, and small items for easy access- like magazines. NOT good as a book bag. I wish I can return it.

Sorry guys for first stating it was a great item. For that reason I am not deleting my original description and review, because those are still the positives of the bag. I just hope people didn't buy this because of my review and that now they hate it...and hate me :( for that. I have this in my closet; still wondering when I can use this BIG BAG!!!!
